She can ride for miles and miles and miles......

Today was a great day for a bike ride - and Grandpop planned a 6.5 mile ride that ran a little longer than planned. Not because of any problems, but a pair of legs that wanted to keep riding.
At the drop off point Luke helped
Grandpop get Sarah and Auntie's bikes off the truck.

She was actually very excited about riding off
with Auntie down the tow path of the Delaware River.

Nana shot some video footage of us leaving and arriving at the lunch stop.
Luke and Grandpop found the picnic spot and then started up the path
to greet us and let us know it was time to stop for a break.

Grandpop, keep your hands off my cheese-its!

Sarah was ready to go right after the lunch break. When we got to the pick up spot she wanted to go back again! So, we turned around. Luke and Nana went off to find adventures of their own. Grandpop met us at the lunch stop but she wanted to keep going - so this time we pedaled past the drop-off point to the next convenient meeting place.

She rode almost 15 miles!

An overnight at The Homestead can only get
better by ice cream in Pennsylvania with jimmies.
You'd make short work of the ice cream cone if you rode like she did today!
And how did Auntie do? I may be getting ready for a 5K, but I am a little saddle sore!
