Cake is baked and cooling, I'll torte it (cut it in half and add its filling) this evening before icing it pink as my niece has requested. I am toying with the idea of adding coconut. I am NOT a coconut fan at all, under normal circumstances I think it is the perfect way to ruin a cake. However, I am feeling nostalgic for some unexplained reason - and I am blaming the pink icing. My Grandma used to add coconut to her frosted cupcakes and I recently saw a magazine spread featuring cupcakes frosted pink with coconut sprinkled on them. My sister-in-law loves coconut so she will be happy. Maybe just his ears......I'll let you peak tomorrow. Until then, enjoy your "Low Saturday" in anticipation of sunrise services, egg hunts, and chomping on chocolate bunny ears.

Some bunny needs to cool off!

so cute! my mum used to make a bunny cake every year for easter, but it was just two round cakes, one for the face, and one cut up to make ears and a bowtie. =)
and i love coconut! my gramma does a coconut cake that is my absolute favourite. =)
