Wet and soggy

The aftermath of the weekend storm is rather ugly in places still.
Here at The Homestead we are dealing with a seeping lawn but that's about the worst of it.

Underground springs that feed the pond have
been continually running riverlets down the drive.

This is where the springs start in the neighbors drive.

The pond about 25 feet over from the drive is what resulted
after Dad excavated into the springs ten years ago.
